High-quality wines from the Burgundy family are selected and combined in a dry, sparkling creation made from Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay.Due to the high-quality Burgundy wines from our own vineyards, Gustavshof Pino Secco has just as long a shelf life as high-quality white wines.The vineyards for Pino Secco are located on the slopes of the highest mountain in the Rheinhessen region, the Kloppberg. The vines grow there on calcareous tertiary marl soils. The altitude has a positive influence on the aroma of the Secco, which has a fine aroma of fruit such as apples, pears and pineapple and a full-bodied, dry taste with a wonderfully refreshing carbon dioxide effect. We recommend Pino Secco as an aperitif and as an alternative to sparkling wine, and it is best served ice-cold!
