Ölkännchen Familie Lombardo, Nocellara del Belice Oliven, unfiltriert, Sizilien IT 500ml
The medium fruity olive oil from the Lombardo family impresses with a fresh aroma with a differentiated spectrum, with a balanced bitter and slightly spicy finish. We recommend Lombardo extra virgin olive oil with summer salads, pasta and as a topping for homemade pizzas. Excellent as a finish to steamed and fried fish and to stews with pulses - and of course a delight with a crispy light baguette! In the fertile Belice Valley in Sicily, organic farmers Francesco and Francesca Lombardo cultivate and harvest citrus fruits, grapes and olives. The Nocellara del Belice olives are picked by hand to produce table olives and excellent oil. The olive oil remains in a large steel tank for around six weeks so that the suspended matter settles to the bottom of the tank. This means that the oil can be bottled without filtering and retains its full aroma profile. Quality analysis (extract) from 23.1.2026: Percentage of free fatty acids 0.12 % - Peroxide value 3.3 meq O2/kg - K232 1.62 - K268 0.092 - -K -0.002 - Polyphenols (total) 260 mg/kg. Single-varietal and single-vintage bottling. Harvest October-November 2025.
