Aromatic, sweet, storable root vegetable. Parsnips require deep, loose soil in order to develop their long roots. The seeds take up to 3 weeks to germinate. Good soil moisture is very important during this phase. If this is not the case, please water continuously and carefully. Thin out plants to 5 - 10 cm after emergence. "TIP": The hardy parsnip roots can be harvested fresh from the garden throughout the winter if the soil is open.
