Our mate tea gives you a boost and tastes strong and wonderfully spicy. The infusion made from the leaves of the mate tree was only known in South America for a long time, but mate is now also popular in this country, where the Argentinian national drink is traditionally drunk from a hollowed-out gourd, even by gauchos on horseback. But the tea from the jungle of the Paraná basin can also be enjoyed in European cups - whether it's for breakfast or to beat the afternoon slump.
