ajaa! bioplastic made in Germany What material does ajaa! use for its products? We use a bioplastic that can easily replace conventional plastic. Plastic contains plasticizers and other substances that are supposed to make the material supple and less porous. The bad thing is that plasticizers contain, among other things, bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical compound that is very harmful to humans and the environment. That's why we have come up with an alternative solution: a natural biopolymer made from sugar cane juice and minerals, which is 100% renewable and a wonderful substitute for plastic. The term -polymer- comes from the Greek and means -multipartite-. In chemistry, it refers to the combination of several similar molecules. Synthetic polymers are known in everyday life as plastics. The raw materials: The sugar cane juice after the first pressing is left over in Brazil and cannot be processed into sugar. A biopolymer is obtained from it. The minerals (lime) come from Europe. Everything is combined in Baden-Württemberg to create an organic plastic and the raw materials give the ajaa! products the desired properties.
