Idemar - Rosenkohl (Saatgut)

With the highest vitamin C content of any vegetable, Brussels sprouts are an important winter vegetable in many home gardens. The mildly aromatic Idemar variety is medium frost-hardy and can be harvested until the end of December. Like all cabbage varieties, Brussels sprouts have a high nutrient requirement. From the start of floret formation, it is advisable to fertilize with a plant slurry. A good supply of water is also important as the plants need to grow quickly.TIP: If the florets do not form sufficiently, thin out the plants in September/October.
