Honey & Mustard Dressing + Dip, 250 ml - Bioland A honey-mustard dressing sounds simple. And it is if you make it right. The founders Dressing Recipe No. 1 was created in the shared apartment kitchen of the two founders, Jens Wages and Michael Wiese, before Emils even existed. The question back then: Why does a dressing have to contain all those things that shouldn t be on any ingredient list? The answer remains the same to this day: It doesn t have to.No Thickeners: Ready-made dressings have to last for months and look perfect on the shelf. Xanthan gum, modified starch, and egg yolk are commonly used for this purpose. This dressing contains none of those ingredients. The oil and vinegar separate in the jar a quick shake is all it takes. The mustard acts as the binder, as it is naturally emulsifying. Ingredients by percentage: 11% stone-ground mustard from Bioland-certified farms, full of seeds and spicy. 6% blossom honey from German beekeepers. 9% extra virgin olive oil. Cold-pressed canola oil as the base, not water. Naturally cloudy apple cider vinegar from Baden-Württemberg; no distilled vinegar is used in the mustard either. Plus rock salt and black pepper. Regarding Sugar Content: The dressing contains 8.2 g of sugar per 100 ml. This sugar comes from the honey and apple juice. It contains no added granulated sugar, syrup, or sweeteners.
