Oil jar of organic rosehip date puree made from 100% fruit from Bulgaria: The organic rose hips come from Bulgarian farms that specialize in the organic cultivation of the dog rose - Rosa canina L. - around the Balkan Mountains. The climate and soil conditions in this region are ideal for growing rosehip plants. Ivo Balevski's certified organic factory is located in Chernovrah, near the small town of Tryavna. Ivo Balevski is a specialist in the value-preserving processing of rose hips. Using state-of-the-art technology, his small company removes the nuts and hairs from Bulgarian organic rosehips before drying them at a controlled temperature of 50 degrees Celsius. This ensures that the valuable properties of the organic rosehip are preserved to the maximum. Ivo has known the taste of fruity, aromatic rosehip date puree since his childhood and now produces it himself in a small vacuum kettle in his factory. The fruity puree is produced at a constant temperature of 56 degrees Celsius. The finely ground rosehip peel is gently "boiled down" with the addition of date syrup. Ivo has been buying the date syrup from a certified organic Turkish partner company for many years. The rosehip puree with date syrup tastes fruity and sweet with a hint of caramel and can be used in a variety of ways in creative cooking. But it is best enjoyed as a spread on crispy light bread. The label is made from environmentally friendly bagasse, unbleached and without protective varnish.
