The regenerating salt is pure crystallized sea salt, without anti-caking agents, synthetic dyes and other additives- For household dishwashers- Free from anti-caking agents and synthetic dyes- For optimum washing results- Available: 2 kg
Every dishwasher has a built-in ion exchanger that removes the hardness ions calcium and magnesium from the water and supplies soft water to the dishwasher. This is intended to prevent limescale deposits from forming on glasses and silverware. Once the ion exchanger is saturated with calcium and magnesium ions, its absorption capacity must be restored through regeneration. This is done using regeneration salt, which replaces the hardness ions and thus ensures optimal washing results.Dosage: As soon as the salt indicator on the dishwasher lights up, fill the designated salt container with regenerating salt according to the machine manufacturer s instructions. Experience has shown that some machines indicate the need for salt very late. To prevent this, regeneration salt should be refilled regularly, even if the indicator has not yet come on. If the salt container was completely empty, you should wait approximately 2 hours after refilling it before putting the machine back into operation, so that the ion exchanger has enough time to regenerate.Set the dishwasher s water softener to a hardness range 8° 10°dH / 15° 18°fH higher than the actual water hardness. Please refer to your dishwasher s user manual for instructions (see the Dishwasher information sheet at www.sonett.eu). The compartments for regeneration salt and rinse aid should always be filled.
