Ginger is a popular spice in Asian cuisine - the gnarled root pieces can be grated particularly finely with this small-toothed porcelain grater. Nothing is lost in the process - the firmer ingredients are collected in the middle and the juice on the outside. Tip: sometimes you only need the ginger juice - first drain the juice from the grater and then place the firmer fibers in some filter paper and squeeze out.
