Max Sontheim, master cheesemaker at the Allgäu Cheese Manufactory in Kimratshofen, has created yet another refined product with this semi-hard cheese. Only the best organic milk from the foothills of the Allgäu Alps goes into his cheese vat. In the herbal version, he adds a finely balanced blend of herbs to the cheese dough. This mixture of local ingredients such as onion, winter honeysuckle, marigold, chervil, parsley, lovage and dill gives the cheese an aromatic flavor. The 7 herbs stand for more biodiversity and come from certified Bioland farms. Whether fried in the pan or roasted on the barbecue, ÖMA roast and grill cheese is a delicious meal, even if you need it quickly. As a self-service piece cut into 180g portions, it is ready to grill straight away and also shows its best side in the pan, as it retains its shape and does not melt. ÖMA Roast and Grilled Cheese Herbs is an aromatic, spicy cheese delight with a fine herbal note and many possible variations.
