ÖMA Cottage Cheese is a grainy cream cheese, also known as cottage cheese, whose cheese mass consists of rice-sized, soft and smooth grains. High-quality milk from Naturland farms, selected cream quality and special acid cultures give ÖMA Cottage Cheese its mild, fresh to slightly sour taste. The grainy, fresh Cottage Cheese is ideal as a high-protein snack. It contains only 4% absolute fat and tastes great on its own or as a dessert combined with fresh fruit or jam. For savory variations, fresh herbs or onions can be stirred in with a little salt or pepper to taste and the light and fluffy bread topping is ready: a taste sensation without remorse! In addition to the mozzarella specialties, ÖMA Cottage Cheese and the hard cheese specialties ÖMA Rigatino and ÖMA Rotondo are produced at the ÖMA production site in Amberg. The organic milk required for processing is collected from the 101 Naturland-certified farms by milk collection truck.
