Spielberger Mühle's 6-grain mix consists of whole grains of wheat, rye, spelt, oats, naked barley and millet. The balanced mixture brings a variety of flavors and handcrafted quality to wholesome cuisine, with each type of grain contributing its part to the character of the mixture: Wheat and spelt with a mild, slightly nutty flavor, rye with a hearty note, oats with a fine sweetness, hulled naked barley brings a grainy texture, and millet rounds off the whole with a mild and light taste.The whole grain mix is ideal for fresh grinding, flaking or cooking. Whether in muesli, for cereal patties, casseroles or as a basis for your own bread recipes - the versatile mix makes it possible. Anyone who likes to grind their own grains or experiment with wholegrains will find the right basis for varied and natural cuisine here.
Basic recipe: Soak the mixture overnight, then cook with fresh water for approx. 40 minutes over a low heat. 6-grain mix is suitable for cooking as a side dish, for cereal salads, casseroles or patties, freshly ground for breads and pastries or flaked for muesli.
