Brown millet is naturally gluten-free. To ensure that the gluten content of the gluten-free brown millet wholemeal flour is guaranteed to be below 20 ppm (20 mg/kg) gluten, it is kept carefully separate from all products containing gluten and analyzed several times. To this end, Spielberger Mühle ensures strictly separate product flows and separate production lines. The products only leave the company when the last analysis confirms that they are gluten-free. For an ecological and safe packaging solution for the gluten-free products, sustainable packaging made from 100% paper is used. Because the bag is made of 100% paper, it can be easily disposed of with the waste paper.brown millet is considered a particularly valuable grain. This millet has a reddish-brown outer husk, which is not peeled off in comparison to golden millet products. All the ingredients of this husk and the whole grain are therefore retained. Just a few tablespoons a day are enough to provide valuable vitamins and minerals. Brown millet wholemeal flour can be used as a supplement to other flours or to enrich muesli, salads or vegetable dishes.

Brown millet flour has a tart, slightly nutty taste and is suitable for adding to bread, cake or muesli recipes. Use in small quantities as it has no leavening properties and is ideal for nutrient enrichment in gluten-free diets.
