We use the best demeter oats for our oat bran. The grain is first dehulled, then ground and the flour is sieved off so that the bran remains. Oat bran consists of the valuable outer layers of the grain together with the germ and therefore contains a particularly high amount of filling fiber, vitamins and minerals, such as B vitamins, vitamin E, potassium, iron and zinc. Oats are particularly rich in the fiber beta-glucan, which is mainly found in the bran. This makes oat bran particularly healthy, as beta-glucan has a positive effect on cholesterol and blood sugar levels.

Oat bran can be used as a healthy, high-fiber addition to muesli, yoghurt and quark dishes, smoothies and shakes, soups, sauces and baked goods; Recipe: Banana shake: Ingredients: 2 bananas, 1 tsp powdered sugar, 1/2 l milk 1/2 packet vanilla sugar, 4 tsp oat bran 75 g natural yoghurt; Preparation: Blend everything chilled with a blender or hand blender, leave to swell a little and pour into glasses.
