The beautiful butterfly shape gives Byodo Farfalle its name and delights young and old alike on the plate. Pasta dough is rolled and cut into squares, which are then pressed together in the middle. This gives the farfalle from Emilia-Romagna & Lombardy its characteristic butterfly shape.several selected varieties of durum wheat semolina from Italy are used for Byodo gourmet pasta. These are brought into a perfectly balanced, well-guarded mixing ratio. The secret of Byodo's wonderfully yellow pasta also lies in the slow grinding of the grain. This means that less heat than usual is applied to the grain and the wonderful taste and delicate aroma are retained. Mixed with crystal-clear water and dried slowly, it becomes a real treat. All this also ensures particularly good cooking properties and the perfect al dente bite. By using bronze dies, the surface of the pasta is slightly roughened and the sauce adheres particularly well.
Byodo farfalle, semola made from 100% organic durum wheat semolina is a delicious treat with its perfect "al-dente" bite. They taste great with pesto and vegetable sauces of all kinds, but also look great in pasta salads or casseroles.
