Zuckerrohr-Melasse

Sugar cane molasses is also known as the 'black wonder' due to its valuable ingredients. It has a strong, aromatic taste of its own. The syrup tastes slightly bitter with a hint of licorice. Molasses is a high-quality by-product of sugar production. It is unrefined and is bottled without additives. The bottling process can lead to the formation of foam on the surface. Due to its natural properties, sugar crystals may form. However, this does not constitute a reduction in quality.
Excellent with strong dishes such as gingerbread, wholemeal cookies or strong sauces and marinades, also particularly tasty in muesli, yoghurt or quark, dissolved in hot milk or refined with apple sauce and cinnamon
