Obtained from South American sugar cane, this sugar is an ideal, natural sweetener. The sugar cane grows in sunny regions and is traditionally harvested and processed - for fine sweetness in many recipes.

Cane sugar gives pastries, desserts and drinks a particularly fine, caramel-like sweetness. It can be used in cakes, cookies, muffins or even in tea and coffee. As cane sugar is slightly less sweet than beet sugar, the amount can be adjusted as desired. It usually dissolves a little more slowly in liquids than fine beet sugar, making it suitable for preparing syrups or caramel.
