Roasted argan oil - rich in unsaturated fatty acids. Fairly traded organic oil with a nutty taste.BIO PLANÈTE roasted argan oil comes from the Essaouira-Agadir region in south-western Morocco. Through joint commitment with our trading partner and a partnership of equals, we have been able to support the traditional craftsmanship of the local Berber women and secure permanent jobs for the local people. The yellow, olive-like argan fruits fall to the ground when they are ripe and are picked up by hand. It takes 35 kg of fruit to produce one liter of argan oil. The dried and peeled argan fruits are then beaten by hand by the Berber women to extract the oily almonds they contain. These almonds are gently roasted and cold-pressed on site.
Vegetable oil exclusively for use as a seasoning.
