Olivenöl Polyphenolia, nativ extra

POLYPHENOLIA extra virgin olive oil is obtained from young, still green olives. The yield is low due to the early harvest time, but it is of particularly high quality. It is rich in polyphenols. These are secondary plant substances that make olive oil so valuable. The olives for this oil come from Apulia. Many of the trees there are several hundred years old. The gnarled and wind-bent olive trees grow scattered in the middle of an untouched and protected landscape not far from the coast. The early harvesting and immediate pressing of the olives gives the oil an intense green-fruity flavor. The bitter substances and pungency are characteristic of an oil rich in polyphenols.
The oil is ideal for cold dishes. It goes well with fresh salads and adds the finishing touch to Mediterranean dishes and vegetables. Polyphenols are sensitive to heat, so please only add the oil after cooking.
