For our buckwheat flakes, the whole grain is first steamed in our own flake mill and then rolled into a nice flake. This preserves all the ingredients of the whole grain. Buckwheat has an aromatic, nutty taste and is particularly rich in valuable protein, as well as filling fiber, B vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium and potassium.
Our buckwheat flakes can be enjoyed without cooking or soaking. Simply mix with yogurt, milk, plant-based alternatives or juice and enjoy warm or cold. Refine as desired with fresh fruit, dried fruit, nut butter, jam, honey or spices, for example. In addition to the classic use as a muesli ingredient, buckwheat flakes also taste great in baked goods such as cookies, muesli bars or bread, in desserts, but also in savory dishes such as soups and patties; Recipe: Simple vegetable cakes: 500 g vegetables of your choice, 1 onion, 4 heaped tbsp buckwheat flakes, 3 tbsp buckwheat flour, 3 tbsp flour, 2 tsp herb salt, 2 eggs, oil for frying. Coarsely grate the vegetables, finely chop the onion. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a dough. Leave to rest for at least 1 hour. Heat the oil in a pan.
