The precious protective oil for demanding skin. Fairtrade argan oil from Moroccan organic argan nuts is particularly recommended for protecting mature skin. It leaves rough skin smooth and supple and relieves itching. Even very blemished skin benefits from the balanced fatty acid spectrum of organic argan oil. Its high vitamin E content acts as a free radical scavenger, prevents premature skin ageing and supports cell regeneration. The Moroccan Berber women use argan oil for cooking as well as for body care: to protect the skin from the sun, the desert wind and skin ageing, to strengthen hair and nails and to treat wounds. Newborn babies are welcomed with argan oil, houses are fortified with the wood of the argan tree and its roots prevent erosion of the desert soil. The women say that they learned all this from their mothers and that they will pass this knowledge on to their daughters. This is another reason why they call the argan tree - the sacred tree - the tree of life. APPLICATION: Apply sparingly as a face and body oil to slightly damp skin and massage in gently.
