Organic Greek oregano (Origanum vulgare hirtum) is grown by Bio Parnon, consisting of the three partners Takis, Georgios and Ilias, at an altitude of approx. 1000m in the largely untouched nature of the Parnon mountains. The oregano is harvested by hand and dried slowly and without the use of mechanical heat, which is why it is very aromatic. Oregano is used extensively and in many different ways in Mediterranean cuisine. It goes particularly well with tomato sauces, braised vegetables and pizza, but also adds a special touch to potato stews, for example. Heat the herbs in olive oil to bind the flavors! The label is made from environmentally friendly bagasse, unbleached and without protective varnish.
