In its 800-year history between the Apennines and the Po, the art of cheese-making has developed to perfection and this is what makes the original so unique.Parmigiano Reggiano is awarded the DOP seal (Denominazione d'Origine Protetta) - also known here as the protected designation of origin - which clearly specifies where the production, processing and how the production of this specialty must take place.
Use the original Italian Parmigiano Reggiano DOP wherever you want it Italian, but also for other dishes. With pasta, risotto, on salads or vegetable dishes, broken into pieces with Aceta balsamic vinegar, as a topping on salads and for all other occasions where the cheese really comes into its own.

Unsere Hartkäse sollten vor dem Verzehr ca. 1 h Zimmertemp. genießen dürfen. Sie lagern bestenfalls im oberen Bereich des Kühlschranks bei ca. 8-12°C und sollten in ÖMA Käsepapier aufbewahrt werden (Käsepapier immer für das selbe Stück Käse verwenden).
