The term "pesto" is derived from the Italian word "pestare" and means "to crush, chop". To make wild garlic pesto, fresh herbs and hard cheese are finely chopped and mixed with oil. The result is an aromatic and tasty sauce
The bio-verde pesto is very versatile in the kitchen. As well as being perfect as a pasta sauce, it tastes great with white bread as an appetizer, as a base for a herb salad dressing or to season soups and vegetables
