The gluten-free oat flakes are aromatic and made from the whole grain. The oats are grown and processed free from contamination by cereals containing gluten, making them ideal for a gluten-free diet for coeliacs. For the oat flakes, the whole grain is first kilned, steamed and then rolled into a fine flake in the Spielberger flake mill. The gluten-free oat flakes are carefully kept separate from all gluten-containing products from cultivation to sale in the store and are analyzed several times. To ensure that the gluten content is reliably below 20 ppm (20 mg/kg) gluten, it is kept carefully separated from all products containing gluten and analyzed several times. To achieve this, Spielberger Mühle ensures strictly separate product flows and separate production lines. The products only leave the company when the last analysis confirms that they are gluten-free. For an ecological and safe packaging solution for the gluten-free products, sustainable packaging made from 100% paper is used. Because the bag is made of 100% paper, it can be easily disposed of as waste paper. For the gluten-free oat flakes, the whole grain is dried, steamed and then rolled into a nice flake. This preserves all the ingredients of the whole grain.
The gluten-free oat flakes can be enjoyed without cooking or soaking. Simply mix with yogurt, milk, plant-based alternatives or juice and enjoy warm or cold. Refine as desired with fresh fruit, dried fruit, nut butter, jam, honey or spices, for example. In addition to the classic use as a muesli ingredient, flakes also taste great in baked goods such as cookies, muesli bars or bread, as well as in savory dishes such as soups and roasts.
