Ölkännchen Thymian-Pinien Honig, Lassithi, Kreta GR 250g
Fragrant, intense, aromatic organic thyme-pine honey from a small apiary near Agios Nikolaos, Lassithi on Crete.Alexis Themistoclis has a small organic apiary in Kroustas in the Lassithi region of Crete. Alexis and Maria's bees live and collect in the largely untouched nature of the mountainous Lassithi region of Crete. Alexis' Themistoklis beehives are surrounded by thyme in a permanent location above Kroustas on the edge of a pine forest. They produce pine and thyme honey as well as pine and thyme honey, a cuvée of the successive pine and thyme honey harvests. The intense aroma of both varieties is combined here to create a specialty that has already won several awards. The apiary operates strictly according to organic standards. The honey is extracted cold and is not heated for bottling. The honey is bottled according to vintage and producer. These honey specialties have a very intense aroma and taste and are enjoyed pure, on bread or as an aromatic addition to tea.
