Roasted sesame oil - rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Roasted organic oil ideal for macrobiotic cuisine. "Open sesame!" - Just a few drops of roasted sesame oil and you are right in the middle of the world of "Ali Baba and the 40 thieves". In the fairy tale, the sesame fruit is a symbol of wealth. And when the fruit capsule opens, it actually reveals a real treasure: the sesame seeds. To allow them to ripen fully, farmers in Uganda cut the plants by hand in September and stand them upright for a few days. Only when all the capsules have opened are the sesame seeds shaken out over a cloth. For our BIO PLANÈTE roasted sesame oil, these pure, untreated seeds are gently roasted before being cold-pressed. This gives the oil an amber-like color and a very full-bodied, nutty aroma. Sesame oil contains vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Replacing saturated fatty acids with polyunsaturated fatty acids in the diet helps to maintain normal blood cholesterol levels, and a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important.

Roasted sesame oil is a must in Asian cuisine! Even without an original recipe, you can conjure up a Far Eastern flavor in your salads, toasts, rice or noodle dishes.
