This Darjeeling spring harvest (first flush) is characterized by its wonderfully delicate floral notes. After the winter break, tea bushes sprout particularly delicate leaves - and this tea harvested in spring tastes just as delicate. When the nights are still cool in March, but the sun is already breaking through the mountain mist during the day, the tea garden at the foot of the Himalayas comes to life. The first flush can only be plucked for a short time - careful manual work for maximum enjoyment.
Preparation: Pour boiling water over 1 teaspoon per cup (200 ml) and leave the tea to infuse for 3 minutes.
