OSTMOST - NATURAL PROTECTION IN BOTTLESWe produce juices, spritzers and ciders in certified organic quality and completely avoid additives of any kind. We only use old cider apple varieties from local orchards as the basis for all our drinks. Drinking OSTMOST means saving meadow orchards: To date, around 80% of the meadow orchards have been cut down for eco-certified mono-plantations, among other things. In contrast to conventional monocultures, meadow orchards are a true paradise of biodiversity and variety, as they are home to up to 5,000 animal and plant species. Maintaining and harvesting these orchards is particularly costly and therefore often no longer economically viable for farmers. That is why we pay the initiatives and fruit growers a fair price, often more than double what is usual on the market. In this way, we enable a fair and regional value chain for the preservation of orchards and thus biodiversity in Germany. Our apple juice has an intense flavor because it contains over 200 different apple varieties. Paradise juice combines various fruits that grow in orchards. However, the main flavor is the plum with a slight acidity from the mirabelle plum and a minimal bitter note from the quince. Apple and pear round it all off and the elderberry juice stabilizes the beautiful pink color.
