The common dost is a native weed. It needs a full sun location in the garden and well-drained, nutrient-poor soil. This pretty perennial herb grows to a height of approx. 60 cm. Its pink flowers are a real bee magnet and are very important for almost all butterfly species. "TIP": Traditionally, the flowering twigs are collected at lunchtime and used fresh or dried.
