The smoky aroma of green spelt gives these vegan patties a particularly strong taste, which is rounded off with leek, carrot and parsnip. The vegetable patties are versatile, vegan and rich in fiber and protein, and you can easily fry vegan patties with our ready-made mix. All you have to do is add a little water, form flat green spelt patties and fry until golden brown. Patties are fried patties made from vegetables, grains or pulses and are a meat-free alternative to meatballs. Made famous by the reform cuisine of Maximilian Bircher-Benner, the inventor of Bircher muesli and wholefoods, patties can be used in a variety of ways: as a side dish to salads, with a dip, as a filling for vegetables or as a vegetarian burger. The term "Bratlinge" stands for traditional and artisan values and fits perfectly with a conscious and sustainable diet. The smoky aroma of green spelt gives the Bratling a particularly strong taste. Our ready-made mixes are packaged in 100% paper and do not require a folding box. This means they are completely plastic-free and produce over 50% less packaging waste than comparable products.
For 6-10 burgers; Preparation time: approx. 10 minutes; Soaking time: 15 minutes; Preparation: Place the contents of the packet in a bowl and mix with 250 ml boiling water. Leave to soak for 15 minutes. Form 6-10 burgers with wet hands, depending on size. Fry in a pan with oil on both sides until golden brown. Serve with salad or yogurt dip. Tip: For extra fluffy burgers, knead 1 egg into the mixture. Variations:- Finger food: Knead 1 egg or 1 tbsp soy flour into the burger mixture and shape into thumb-thick sticks, roll in sesame seeds and fry on all sides. Serve with dip; - Stuffed vegetables: Stuff vegetables such as zucchinis or peppers with the burger mixture and bake in the oven.
