Hirse Porridgeflocken Mischung, demeter
We use high-quality golden millet for our porridge flakes. In our flake mill, we first carefully steam the whole grain to make it smooth and then roll it into a nice flake. Our selected mixture of millet flakes, rice flakes and millet flour produces a creamy, hearty porridge. The millet gives the porridge a very special, slightly nutty, mild taste.
Preparation: Boil 200 ml water, milk or plant-based drink and stir in 50 g (4 tbsp) millet porridge flakes and a pinch of salt. Allow the porridge to boil briefly, switch off the hob and continue to stir the porridge for approx. 1-2 minutes, depending on how thick you want it to be. Pour the porridge into a deep plate or bowl. Sweeten to taste. Tip: Refine your porridge with a dash of cream, some fruit or a crunchy topping, e.g. a mixture of Spielberger pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds.
