Rice is naturally gluten-free. To ensure that the gluten content of our gluten-free rice flakes is guaranteed to be below 20 ppm (20 mg/kg) gluten, they are kept carefully separate from all products containing gluten and analyzed several times. To this end, we ensure strictly separate product flows and separate production lines in our mill. The products only leave our premises once the last analysis has confirmed that they are gluten-free. We use glassine paper as an ecological and safe packaging solution for our gluten-free products. This is very dense and has a grease barrier. We use a complete inner bag made of this paper for our bags for gluten-free products. It offers sufficient protection against subsequent contamination. Because it is made of 100% paper, it can be easily disposed of with the waste paper. We produce our gluten-free rice flakes with the utmost care in our own flake mill. There, the whole grain is steamed and then rolled into a nice flake. This preserves all the ingredients of the whole grain. Rice flakes are low in sodium, contain lots of complex carbohydrates and are low in calories. The very hearty flakes ensure long-lasting satiety.
Our rice flakes can be enjoyed without cooking or soaking. Simply mix with yogurt, milk, plant-based alternatives or juice and enjoy warm or cold. Refine with fresh fruit, dried fruit, nut butter, jam, honey or spices as desired. In addition to the classic use as a muesli ingredient, rice flakes also taste particularly good in porridge or in baked goods such as cookies, muesli bars or bread, but also in savory dishes such as patties; Recipe: Quick breakfast porridge with fruit; Bring approx. 120 ml liquid (water and milk/vegetable alternative) to the boil and remove from the heat. Stir in 40 g rice flakes (or a mixture with other gluten-free flakes) and some grated lemon zest, leave to swell briefly and sweeten to taste. Add a little more liquid if necessary.
