Buckwheat is naturally gluten-free. To ensure that the gluten content of our gluten-free buckwheat flakes is guaranteed to be below 20 ppm (20 mg/kg) gluten, they are carefully kept separate from all products containing gluten and analyzed several times. To achieve this, we ensure strictly separate product flows and separate production lines in our mill. The products only leave our premises once the last analysis has confirmed that they are gluten-free. We use glassine paper as an ecological and safe packaging solution for our gluten-free products. This is very dense and has a grease barrier. We use a complete inner bag made of this paper for our bags for gluten-free products. It offers sufficient protection against subsequent contamination. Because it is made of 100% paper, it can be easily disposed of with the waste paper. We produce our gluten-free buckwheat flakes with the utmost care in our own flake mill. There, the whole grain is steamed and then rolled into a beautiful flake. This preserves all the valuable ingredients of the whole grain. Buckwheat is particularly rich in valuable protein, as well as filling fiber, B vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium and potassium.
Our buckwheat flakes can be enjoyed without cooking or soaking. Simply mix with yogurt, milk, plant-based alternatives or juice and enjoy warm or cold. Refine as desired with fresh fruit, dried fruit, nut butter, jam, honey or spices, for example. In addition to the classic use as a muesli ingredient, buckwheat flakes also taste good in baked goods such as cookies, muesli bars or bread, in desserts and also in savory dishes such as soups and patties; Recipe: Simple vegetable cakes; 500 g vegetables of your choice, 1 onion, 4 heaped tbsp buckwheat flakes, 3 tbsp corn flour, 3 tbsp wholemeal rice flour, 2 tsp herb salt, 2 eggs, oil for frying Roughly grate the vegetables, finely chop the onion. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a dough. Leave to rest for at least 1 hour. Heat the oil in a pan, spoon individual cakes into the pan and fry over a medium heat until golden brown.
