Brown millet is naturally gluten-free. To ensure that the gluten content of our gluten-free brown millet flakes is guaranteed to be below 20 ppm (20 mg/kg) gluten, they are carefully kept separate from all products containing gluten and analyzed several times. To achieve this, we ensure strictly separate product flows and separate production lines in our mill. The products only leave our premises once the last analysis has confirmed that they are gluten-free. We use glassine paper as an ecological and safe packaging solution for our gluten-free products. This is very dense and has a grease barrier. We use a complete inner bag made of this paper for our bags for gluten-free products. It offers sufficient protection against subsequent contamination. Because it is made of 100% paper, it can be easily disposed of with the waste paper. Brown millet is a particularly valuable grain. This millet has a reddish-brown outer husk which, in contrast to golden millet products, is not peeled off. All the ingredients of this husk and the whole grain are therefore retained. For our gluten-free brown millet flakes, the whole grain is steamed in its husk and then rolled. Brown millet flakes are used as a dietary supplement. Just a few tablespoons a day are enough to provide valuable vitamins and minerals. Brown millet is particularly rich in silicon, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc and B vitamins. 15 g of brown millet flakes provide the desired daily amount of silicon. This trace element strengthens skin, hair and nails.
Our gluten-free brown millet flakes can be eaten without cooking or soaking. Mix 2-3 tablespoons into your muesli. Mix the muesli with yoghurt, milk, plant-based alternatives or juice and enjoy warm or cold. Refine with fresh fruit, dried fruit, nut butter, jam, honey or spices as desired. Brown millet flakes can also be added to soups, smoothies, salads or vegetable dishes.
