While the demand for organic products in Germany is continuously increasing, the growth of organic acreage in Germany is stagnating. In order to meet demand, organic products are therefore largely imported from abroad, even though many of the raw materials could also be grown in Germany. The BIO PLANÈTE "Aus gutem Grund" series is an initiative to strengthen and expand organic farming in Germany that goes beyond the usual level of transparency. It includes organic products of German origin for which the farmers receive a price that makes the cultivation of these oilseeds attractive for them in the long term and thus represents a step towards more organic farming in Germany. Because only organic cultivation of arable land is modern agriculture and a sustainable model for the future.

Sunflower oil is most valuable in its natural state in salads and raw vegetable dishes. Please do not fry or deep-fry with it.
