Originally, the quince comes from the rose family of Persia and the Caucasus (at least 4000 BC). Even Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179), who received the highest Catholic honor as a Doctor of the Church from the Pope in 2012, recommended quince for human nutrition (see Internet). For our quince juice, we harvest organically grown apple and pear quinces and gently press them into direct juice. The stimulating aroma of this typical fruit, which is very popular with connoisseurs, is therefore largely retained. Intensely flavored quince juice is an excellent thirst-quencher and adds a special touch to mixed drinks. Tip: Mix one part quince juice with one part mineral water or sparkling wine. Serve chilled!
