ARCHE organic arrowroot starch is one of our exotic products - the very fine vegetable starch is gluten-free and is extracted from the arrowroot plant. The versatile binding agent has a neutral taste and is ideal for sauces, soups, puddings, fine pastries and gluten-free bread.
To thicken 250 ml of liquid, dissolve 2-3 level teaspoons (approx. 10 g) of arrowroot starch in a little cold water, stir in, bring slowly to the boil and simmer briefly. As a breading agent, mix 3 tbsp starch (approx. 20 g) with 2-3 tbsp water.
