The gluten-free quinoa flakes are produced with the utmost care in the Spielberg flake mill. There, the washed, whole grain is steamed and then rolled into a beautiful flake. This preserves all the valuable ingredients of the whole grain. They have a fine, hazelnut-like taste and quinoa is naturally gluten-free. To ensure that the gluten content of gluten-free quinoa flakes is guaranteed to be below 20 ppm (20 mg/kg) gluten, they are carefully kept separate from all products containing gluten and analyzed several times. To this end, Spielberger Mühle ensures strictly separate product flows and separate production lines. Only when the last analysis confirms that the products are gluten-free do they leave the factory. For an ecological and safe packaging solution for the gluten-free products, sustainable packaging made from 100% paper is used. Because the bag is made of 100% paper, it can be easily disposed of as waste paper.
The quinoa flakes can be enjoyed without cooking or soaking. Simply mix with yogurt, milk, plant-based alternatives or juice and enjoy warm or cold. Refine as desired with fresh fruit, dried fruit, nut butter, jam, honey or spices, for example. In addition to the classic use as a muesli ingredient, flakes also taste great in baked goods such as cookies, muesli bars or bread, as well as in savory dishes such as soups and roasts.
