Himalaya Basmati Reis natur / Vollkorn
The aromatic, fluffy fragrant rice comes from the Indian states of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh at the foot of the Himalayas. Indian farming families cultivate the traditional 'Dehradun Type 3' variety with a great deal of manual labor and effort and strictly in accordance with the 'Code of Practice on Basmati Rice'. The seed-resistant variety allows the farmers to be independent of patented seeds and hybrid seeds, as they can grow new rice plants each year from the previous year's rice.
