Makes 14-16 falafel ballsPreparation time: approx. 10 minutesSoaking time: 15 minutesPreparation: Place the contents of the packet in a bowl and mix with 250 ml boiling water. Leave to soak for 15 minutes. Form 14-16 teaspoon-sized balls with wet hands. Fry in a pan with plenty of oil until golden brown on all sides. Remove and place briefly on a plate lined with kitchen paper. The falafel tastes good hot or cold. Serve with salad, yogurt dip or hummus. Variations: - Finger food: Shape the falafel mixture into sticks about the thickness of a thumb, roll in sesame seeds and fry on all sides. Serve with dip - Veggie burger: Shape the falafel mixture into approx. 2 cm thick patties before frying - Stuffed vegetables: Stuff vegetables such as zucchinis or peppers with the falafel mixture and bake in the oven.
