San Vicario DAUNIA VETUS Olivenöl nativ extra
Daunia Vetus organic extra virgin olive oil is made from olives harvested by hand in Sicily. The harvest takes place in November/December of each year. The olive grove is located in southern Sicily. The olives are carefully harvested and transported to the oil mill within a few hours. There, they are pressed using a modern continuous process (= cold extraction) at < 27°C. It is important that the olives for Daunia Vetus extra virgin olive oil are picked directly from the tree and are healthy. Only intact and healthy olives guarantee the outstanding quality of this olive oil. This results in a light yet fruity olive oil with a subtle bitter note and an elegant almond character on the finish.
Daunia Vetus extra virgin olive oil is suitable for all connoisseurs who prefer a light yet noticeable olive oil flavor. It seasons salads, vegetable soups and pulses, but also goes well with grilled fish and white meat dishes. Just a few drops are enough to flavor and lift dishes.
