Rübenzucker, bioland

Obtained from German sugar beet, this sugar is an ideal regional sweetener. The deep-rooted sugar beet also copes well with dry summers and loosens up the soil. The plants bind around 36 tons of CO2 per hectare per year. They therefore play an important role in the crop rotation of German organic farmers.
Beet sugar is the classic sugar for many baked goods and desserts. It can be used in doughs, cakes, tarts, jams or puddings and provides a consistent sweetness. As it dissolves more quickly than raw cane sugar, it is also particularly suitable for drinks such as tea, juice or iced tea. It is also an excellent choice for sweet sauces or as a sugar glaze in baking, as it produces a smooth and even consistency.
