Herbaria cumin comes from certified organic cultivation from a supplier based in Turkey. Since the company was founded in 2017, the three agricultural engineers have established the organic cultivation of various crops together with their grower families. The growers are supported in procuring seeds in order to achieve consistent quality. The seeds are distributed to the farms and sowing takes place by March. In addition, manual hoeing must be carried out several times during the season between the individual plants in order to minimize weeds. Only harvests with satisfactory quality analyses are purchased by individual farmers, stored, cleaned separately by batch and processed. The finely ground cumin is freshly aromatic, with a slightly spicy note. Cumin is an important ingredient in Indian and oriental cuisine. Cumin gives curries, falafel, hummus and stews the necessary spice.
