Thymian - Kräuter (Saatgut)
An important medicinal and aromatic plant and indispensable for Mediterranean cuisine. The perennial, evergreen semi-shrub prefers a full-sun, sheltered, nutrient-poor location. It flowers pink in May/June and should be pruned back hard after flowering. Cover the seeds only thinly with soil and keep moist until germination. "TIP": Fresh thyme can be harvested all year round. For winter storage, it is best to harvest in the fall. Simply lay them on paper in a warm, airy place or hang them up.
