The mildly nutty lentil for quick organic cooking. Red lentils are peeled brown lentils and become soft and creamy after a short time. They do not need to be soaked before cooking and are ready in just 5-10 minutes. Growing protein crops such as lentils, beans or lupins contributes to a more varied crop rotation and thus to maintaining soil health. Legumes do not require nitrogen fertilizer during cultivation and thus reduce the burden on the soil. At the same time, they promote soil fertility through the accumulation of atmospheric nitrogen in their roots. They also serve as an important food source for pollinators such as bees.
