Ölkännchen Kretische Zistrose Tee Cistus creticus, Kreta GR 30g-Tüte
Cretan Organic Lemon Verbena Tea (Cistus creticus) - The lemon verbena grows in the mountains of Omalos on Crete, where the fields of the Psyllakis family lie at an altitude of around 1000m. Cistus creticus is endemic to western Crete. Rodo and Nikos Psyllakis preserve the biodiversity of the region with their small organic farm and demonstrate their respect for nature with their passion for sustainable, nature-preserving herb cultivation. From harvesting to packaging, every step of the process is carried out by hand and drying is naturally carried out without the use of mechanical heat. This preserves the unique properties and special aromas of the whole rockrose leaves and flowers. Infused with hot water, the result is an aromatic, tangy tea. Depending on taste, add about one tablespoon of rockrose leaves to one liter of water and leave to infuse for two to a maximum of five minutes. Cistus is so productive that it can be infused a second time.
