Ölkännchen Cretan Organic Winter Tea ----- - The combination of Cretan rockrose (Cistus creticus) with its pink flowers and sage (Salvia fruticosa) unites wonderful aromas with beneficial properties as a herbal tea blend. The fragrant tea herbs are cultivated and harvested by the Psyllakis family. The family's fields are located above the Samaria Gorge near Omalos at an altitude of around 1000m in western Crete. Cistus creticus is endemic here. Rodo and Nikos Psyllakis preserve the biodiversity of the region with their small organic farm and demonstrate their respect for nature with their passion for sustainable, nature-preserving herb cultivation. From harvesting to packaging, every step of the process is carried out by hand and drying is naturally carried out without the use of mechanical heat. This preserves the unique properties and special aromas of the fragrant herbal tea blend. Preparation of the herbal tea blend: Depending on taste, pour boiling water over about 1.5g of winter tea per liter. Leave to infuse for three to a maximum of five minutes.
Infused with hot water, you get an intensely fragrant and aromatic winter tea. Depending on your taste, add about one tablespoon of the herbal tea blend to one liter of water and leave to infuse for five minutes.
